The child should prepare a brief song to sing without accompaniment (such as a folk song or something the singer has learned in school).

  • Women’s Chorus/men’s chorus (ADULTS) please prepare a brief song to sing without accompaniment (a folk song is preferable), reading ability will be tested, and finally vocal exercises to test range, flexibility, and blend. Adults auditioning for the Men/Women’s Chorus should be prepared to sight-read. Please note:  sight reading is not the major component of your audition, so do not be discouraged! Rather, it is an opportunity for us to get a sense of your reading skills.
