ITALY April 17-25 2006
The Youth Singers traveled to Italy for a whirl-wind tour of the boot, including performances in Rome, Florence, and Siena. One of the highlights of the trip to Italy was our incredible tour guide, Laura Biagi, who reunited with the Youth Singers in Canada in March 2007 for a concert featuring Italian folk song and dance.

The Cantabile Women’s Chorus embarked on their first major tour to participate in Festival 500 in St. Johns. The tour included performing individual concerts, as well as with the mass choir concert featuring hundreds of singers from across the globe, and the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
EASTERN ONTARIO May 14-15, 2004
Cantabile Women’s Chorus was invited to perform in Cornwall as part of the multi-city, multi-disciplinary Festival on the St. Lawrence, and then continued to Ottawa to perform at the National Tulip Festival.

Cantabile Youth Singers toured the Czech Republic. In addition to all of the sight-seeing and exploring, the choristers had an extremely rewarding trip, they won a Gold Award at the Young Prague 2004 Competition.

The Youth Singers traveled to England on Cantabile’s first international tour. The Choirs were invited to perform at many of the most impressive churches in England including York Minster, Coventry Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, and the Cathedral Church of St. Albans to name a few. |
